According to the Ministry of National Defense, border officials of the Islamic Emirate and Iranian border forces recently held a joint coordination meeting at the Islam Qala port in Herat province. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen bilateral relations and address border-related issues. The meeting, led by Brigadier General Mohammad Rahim Khadeem, the commander of the 5th border brigade of the 207 Al-Farooq Corps, included the participation of Mohammad Reza Bayat, the deputy of the border forces from the Iranian side, and Sarhang Sheeda, the Deputy first rank of the border forces. During the meeting, discussions were held on various border issues, cooperation between the two countries, and problem-solving. The border officials of the Islamic Emirate assured the Iranian side of their commitment to joint cooperation and maintaining positive relations with neighboring countries. The Iranian delegation expressed satisfaction with the cooperation of the border forces of the Ministry of National Defense.
