Shaikh Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior Affairs, has departed for Samarkand, Uzbekistan, at the head of a delegation.
The Ministry of Interior stated that the visit is taking place upon an official invitation from Uzbekistan, with the purpose of participating in the international conference titled “International Drug Threats.”
According to the ministry, the conference is scheduled to be held on the 20th of the current month, with the participation of representatives from various countries and international organizations.
The ministry further added that the delegation will present the achievements, ongoing efforts, and future plans of the Islamic Emirate in the field of counter-narcotics at the conference.
