On Saturday, 8/7/1445 AH, Honorable Shaikh Mohammad Qasem “Rasekh,” judiciary deputy assistant, and Honorable Shaikh Khairjan “Khirkhawa,” military deputy assistant, for the supreme court, visited Mr. Kazim “Gharib,” member of the High Council and Judiciary Deputy Assistant in International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the supreme court.
In this meeting, in addition to the judicial and military deputy assistants of the Supreme Court, the secretariat director of the Supreme Court, Honorable Mufti Abdul Rashid (Saeed), Honorable Mawalvi Abdul Wakil (Haqqani), chief of office of the Supreme Court, Mowlavi Abdul Baqi Haqani, a member of the military division, and other officials participated.
The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran; then, the Supreme Court’s Judicial Assistant Shaikh Mohammad Qasem (Rasekh) welcomed the delegation and added that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan stands on the basis of good and mutual respect with all countries, especially the neighboring Islamic countries.
The Honorable Sheikh Mohammad Qasem (Rasekh) shared information about the general structure of the courts of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the process of reaching the client’s files in the courts with the Iranian delegation and told them that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan supreme court is completely independent and based on Hanafi jurisprudence “Hanafi Fiqa”.
During in this meeting, the strengthening of relations between the two countries, the transfer of Afghan prisoners from Iran to Afghanistan, the good behavior of the Iranian authorities towards Afghans in Iran, especially Afghan prisoners, and other important issues were discussed in detail.
The judiciary assistant and member of the high council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Kazim “Gharib,” thanked them for visiting and added that both countries, Afghanistan and Iran, are neighbors’ countries and have lots in common.
He added that Iran wants to strengthen bilateral relations in different field with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
The meeting after discussing some important issues ended with dua.
