While Zelensky did not provide details on the number of casualties, such information may assist Russia in the ongoing conflicts. The President of Ukraine also mentioned that many civilians were killed in areas under the control of Russian soldiers, with the exact number remaining unknown. Maria Zakharova, the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, responded to Zelensky’s statement by asserting that all Ukrainians are aware that the President of Ukraine is lying about the deaths of Ukrainian soldiers.
