The returning of Afghan refugees into their country through numerous Zero Points is taking place, and the committee staff is trying their level best to help and assist the refugees. Below is the conclusive report of the committees officially appointed to accommodate the returnees.
The list and figures of Afghan returnees who entered from different zero points.
The number of registered returnees is 106 families with 338 associates.
The number of transported returnees was 36 families with 81 associates.
Primary assistance and help with returnees were provided to 63 families.
The Number of Temporary Settled Returnees: 77
The Number of Examined and Treated Returnees: 884
The total number of distributed mobile SIM cards is 292.


Nangarhar:


Durand Line (Torkham):
The Committee of Registration, Confirmation, and Reception:
The returning 41 families with 93 associates are biometrically registered.
The Committee for Financial Procedures:
The returning 25 families obtained 25,000 AFN.
 
The Committee for Transport:
The returning 5 families with 25 associates are safely transported to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, and Kabul provinces, along with 1000 AFN as their rent payment.
The Temporary Settlement Committee:
The returning 20 families are given temporary shelters with all the basic necessities of a livelihood.
The Committee on Health Affairs and Services:
The 530 returnees are given meals and purified water in Zero Point Camps. Along with 60,000 liters of purified water, 631 individuals with refugees’ status are examined and treated. Blankets, carpets, and winter heaters with 25 packages of raw materials are also distributed. The refugees also obtained 101 SIM cards with free minutes and internet access.
The Committee for Job Opportunities:
The committee’s staff located 2 high school graduates, 1 with a Master’s degree, 38 with minor skills, and 65 with professional skills. Basic information was also given to 153 children about land mines, personal hygiene, and kid safety.


Kandahar:


Spin Boldak:
The Committee of Registration, Confirmation, and Reception:
The returning 32 families with 155 associates through the Boldak route are registered.
The Committee for Financial Procedures:
The returning 32 families obtained 320,000 AFN each.
The Transport Committee:
The returning three families with nine associates are safely transported to Kandahar with 1500 AFN each as their rent payment.
The Temporary Settlement Committee:
The returning 28 families are given temporary accommodations with all necessary requirements for a livelihood.
The Committee of Health Affairs and Services:
Food: The 650 returning refugees are given meals.
Medical: 253 individuals are examined and treated; in addition, information regarding public awareness programs is given to 410 returnees.
Technology: The refugees obtained 151 SIM cards with free minutes and internet.
The Committee for Job Opportunities:
The committee’s staff located 5 memorizers of the Holy Quran, 1 religious scholar, 65 individuals with minor skills, and 10 with professional skills. In addition, basic information regarding landmines, personal hygiene, child protection, and general information regarding Afghanistan’s culture, people, and climate is given to the 61 kids.


Paktika Province:


Angor Ada Zero Point:
The Committee of Registration, Confirmation, and Reception:
The return of two families through the Angor Ada route is witnessed.
The Committee for Financial Procedures:
The two returning families are given 20,000 AFN as their rent payment.
The Transport Committee:
The two returning families are safely transported to their relevant districts and villages.
The Committee for Health Affairs and Services:
Food: The returning 28 individuals are provided food, purified water, and medical facilities.
The Committee for Information and Public Awareness:
The returnees are given information regarding public awareness programs. The returnees are requested to preserve passion, gratitude, and tranquility among themselves.


Nimruz Province:


The Committee of Registration, Confirmation, and Reception:
The returning 31 families with 86 associates and the other 1,394 individuals with deportees’ status are registered.
The Committee for Financial Procedures:
The returning six families obtained 60,000 AFN as their rent payment.
The Committee for Health Affairs and Services:
The returning refugees are given 31 SIM cards with free minutes and Internet, along with health services.
The Committee for Information and Public Awareness:
The returning 86 refugees are given information regarding public awareness programs. The returnees are also requested to remain nonviolent and preserve tranquility.


Herat Province:


The Transport Committee:
The returning 29 families are given temporary accommodations with basic living requirements.


Kabul:


The Transport Committee:
The returning 26 families with 44 associates are safely transported to Kunduz, Baghlan, and Paktia provinces with 43,000 AFN as their rent payment.
