Secretariat of the High Commission to Address the Problems of Migrants

Daily Work Report of Committees

On Wednesday, 24/9/1445, which corresponds to 15/1/1403, Afghan refugees returned from different routes of the country and they were provided with necessary services in different areas.

Nangarhar

Torkham (Durand Line)

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

Through Torkham, 24 families have returned to the country and 122 members of these families have been registered and biometriced.

Transportation committee

7 families from Torkham, whose number of members was 29, were safely transported to Nangarhar and Kabul provinces and 18,000 Afghani rent was also paid to these families.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 7 families have been temporarily settled in Torkham Omari camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health are provided to returning refugees in Torkham Omari Camp:

Communications: 67 SIM cards have been distributed to the returned refugees, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Employment Committee

In Torkham, the Employment Committee has registered 2 bachelor’s degree holders, 1 memorizers, 14 poor workers and 11 professionals, making a total of 28 people.

The said committee has given public awareness about explosives, cleanliness, child protection and Afghanistan to 250 children in Torkham and games and entertainment programs have also been provided to these children for the purpose of mental health.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

In Torkham, as in the past, public awareness was given to the refugees.

These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transportation, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Kandahar

Spin Boldak (Durand Line)

Transportation committee

15 families with 87 members from Spin Boldak were safely transferred to Kabul, Herat, Ghazni and Zabul provinces and 42,500 Afghanis rent was paid to these families.

Finance Management Committee

A total of (116,000 Afghanis) was given to 13 families in the Taktha Pul Camp by the Financial Affairs Organizing Committee.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today 27 families were settled in the temporary agreement camp of Taktha Pul.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

The following different services including health were provided to returning refugees in Spin Boldak:

Food: 310 meals and clean water were given to refugees in Spin Boldak today.

Health: 138 returned refugees have been treated in Spin Boldak.

Also 209 refugees have been given public awareness in different areas of health.

Clothing: Tents, blankets and blankets have been distributed to refugees in short-term camps as needed.

Communications: The Telecommunication Services Agency has distributed 86 sim cards to the returned refugees free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Employment Committee

The employment committee has registered 3 memorists, 1 temporary graduate, 27 poor workers and 16 professional and people, making a total of 47 people in Spin Boldak.

This committee has given 26 children in Spin Boldak public awareness about explosives, cleanliness, child protection and Afghanistan, and games and entertainment programs have also been provided to these children for the purpose of mental health.

Nimroze

Abrishom way

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

40 families whose members were 153 have returned and registered to the country through the Abrishom way of Nimroz Province and also 1261 travelers have come to the country.

Finance Management Committee

10,000 Afghanis have been donated by the Financial Affairs Committee to 15 families with 69 members, totaling 150,000 Afghanis.

Temporary agreement Committee

In Nimroz 42 families with the number of members 116 have been placed in a temporary agreement camp.

Committee on Services and Health Affairs

In Nimroz, the following different services including health were provided to the returning refugees

Communications: 40-digit SIM cards have been distributed to the returned refugees, free of charge, with free minutes and internet packages.

Committee on Information and Public Awareness

Public awareness was given to the migrants on the Abrishom way of Nimroz Province:

These refugees were given useful information about their registration, transportation, financial assistance, temporary agreement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training.

Herat

Islam Qala

Registration, Confirmation and Receiving Committee

67 families with 147 members have returned to the country and been registered through Islam Qala.

Temporary agreement Committee

Today, 43 families have been placed in a temporary agreement camp in Herat’s Islam Qala.

Finance Management Committee

Financial affairs organization committee provided (292,000) Afghan assistance to 47 returned families.

The total figures of the different activities of all the committees are as follows:

Registered immigrants: (131) families (422) individuals

Transported refugees: (22) families (116) individuals

Assisted migrants: (75) families

Temporarily settled migrants: (119) families

Shared SIM Cards: (193) Digits
